One of the best things an engagement photographer can ask for is a couple who is down for anything.

Brooke and Jake traveled all the way from Winston-Salem to Raleigh (for those of you not from North Carolina, it’s not not a schlep) for a mini engagement shoot. Not only did they travel far to meet me and work with me, but they also trusted me enough to meet me at a humongous...cemetery.

I know.

But trust me when I say it is a very beautiful, historic cemetery. So like...worth any potential run-ins with ghosts.

We walked around for a while getting to know each other and were able to take advantage of some stunning fall colors, and they filled me in on the details of their Leap Day wedding (stay tuned for that post!). They were so excited to get married and I was so excited to see them again for their big day. No ghosts for that one, though.
