I photographed Caitrin and Kyle’s engagement, which was so fun, and knowing this couple I was beyond jazzed to shoot their wedding. They perfectly combined a raw industrial-feeling space with really romantic colors, soft botanical touches, and some glitz. Oh, AND a very cool custom neon sign. Simply put, they nailed it.
There were a couple of really special moments that I loved, that were part of Caitrin and Kyle’s big day.
After their incredibly sweet ceremony where their niece pretty much stole the show, Caitrin and Kyle went on a little jaunt around Downtown Cary and had a drink to themselves. They took their time, enjoyed their first few moments as a married couple, and even paused by a fountain to watch a movie in the park. They were in no great rush, and I loved it.
Then, after the reception, instead of bringing every last guest outside for a sparkler exit, they tapped a few (okay, a couple dozen) select loved ones to form a sparkler CIRCLE where they danced in the middle. How beautiful! How intimate! How fun! And what a lovely way to have a small moment without interrupting everyone doing the Cha Cha Slide inside. One clap now, y’all.
