Alex & Jake | Durham Lifestyle Photographer

Alex, Jake, and I got together for a lifestyle photography shoot in January in Downtown Durham and it’s still one of my favorite lifestyle shoots I’ve done. 

We found this cute old green MG right by one of my favorite walls in the area. My granddad had a bright red MG so I’ve always loved these things, and I’m not exactly a car person. So I suggested Alex and Jake pose with it because I knew they’d look so good next to it. 

And then the owner came up to us. And like, you never know how that could go. Thankfully he was just flattered, and he very sweetly even let Alex and Jake hop in for a couple of photos! 

After pretending like Alex and Jake owned this very hip vintage car, we continued to walk all around Downtown before heading up to my favorite parking deck roof in the city to take advantage of the light. I still dream about the way the sunset hit Alex’s dress -- wouldn’t you!?
