In Need of Time + Vitamins
Most of the time, running and drawing are my tickets to sanity, which is great because both are free, for the most part.
Let me be clear : I run because I like to eat, I live upstairs from a fried chicken restaurant, and because it's makes my entire body (nerves included) so exhausted I don't have the energy to be anxious. I hate running, and being skinny doesn't "taste better than cake." I want the cake.
I draw to avoid the computer, do something for ME, not another client, and because I can make as many mistakes as I want, wasting as much time as I want, and I don't have to worry about where to bill that time.
What happens, however, when I get really busy at work and some kind of flu-monster-cold that wakes-up my asthma and irritates the airways? Wine. And pants with give. And five minutes in the morning to draw the header to my to-do lists. You work with what you've got.
